The New York Day of Remembrance Committee (NYDOR) is a group of Japanese American New Yorkers and allies dedicated to healing intergenerational trauma caused by the WWII incarceration of people of Japanese ancestry through community programming and partnerships and by demanding justice for oppressed people facing racialized state violence and discrimination. Our work includes the New York Regional Chapter of Tsuru for Solidarity and the Annual Day of Remembrance Program.

Annual Day of Remembrance Program
The Day of Remembrance is held every year to keep the memories of the unjust incarceration of people of Japanese ancestry alive and to prevent such actions from occurring again.
